The moment we’ve all been waiting for…..

For four years and four months to be exact.  Last night it finally happened!  I don’t even know where to begin….  Jared came home for Christmas break last night.  He showed up at my house in his uniform (a personal favorite), and took me to our favorite restaurant.  After dessert, J suggest we go see the temple.  This is where I was trying not to get my hopes up…

We parked at the top of the temple and he made me walk down the hill in brand new heels.  When all of a sudden my best friend jumps out from behind the fence and starts shooting……

J started writing me poems before we were even dating…  So it was no surprise when he pulled out a piece of paper and started reading.  It was perfect.

We’re both babies when it comes to things like this…..

And then it happened…..

Of course I said YES!!

I am so in love with this boy…..

Don’t judge on the next picture…. I was crying.

It was a perfect night.  I couldn’t be happier and feel so blessed to have J in my life.

A huge thanks goes out to my girl, Rin.  I’m so glad that she was there to capture this moment for us.  Even though she had to use flash. ;)

After the shock and all the phone calls, J and I had a little photo shoot of our own today.  Jared loves to get me in front of the camera, and he’s really getting good at it!

We call this shot VICTORY!

And then it was J’s turn….

We are so happy and excited.  May of 2013 can’t come soon enough!
